Casting
Sponsor Dr Rohan Munjal and director Sajid Khan chose Ajay Devgn as the male protagonist of the film. It was also rumored that Khan was in talks with actresses Jacqueline Fernandez, Katrina Kaif,[9] Deepika Padukone and Anushka Sharma for the female lead. However, the rumors were denied when Khan approached Tamannaah for the female lead. Also, it was announced that Khan's close friend Akshay Kumar has been roped in for an guest appearance in the film.Marketing
