Even as RIM gears up for the big BlackBerry 10 launch later this month,
the company has come up with another smartphone on its BlackBerry 7.1
OS.
Weeks before the official launch of the
BlackBerry 10 OS, Research in Motion (RIM) has introduced a new
smartphone called the BlackBerry Curve 9315.
The BlackBerry Curve 9315 runs on
BlackBerry 7.1 OS and features a 3.2 MP camera, microSD memory card
expansion and a full, physical QWERTY keyboard. The device supports 3G
connectivity as well as built-in FM Radio.
The BlackBerry Curve 9315 will be
launched on January 23 in the U.S. There's no word on release of the
device in India but we expect the device to arrive in the subcontinent
by mid 2013. The device has been priced at $49 on top of a 20-month
Equipment Installment Plan for $10 per month.

on January 30. The Canadian company is expected to show a handful
devices ready to hit the global market. Details of some of the
BlackBerry 10 handsets are already out, thanks to a few leaked images.
The BlackBerry Z10 is rumoured to be the first BlackBerry 10 smartphone.
The device is said to be a full touchscreen one. Other rumoured
BlackBerry L-series smartphone features include BlackBerry Hub and Flow
interface. Read more about the rumoured BlackBerry L Series smartphones here. In the meanwhile, check out the leaked image of the BlackBerry Z10 below:
